Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us.  We only use the information we collect about you carefully, lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.


We accept payment through Paypal.


If you wish to cancel an order you may do so within 7 working days of receiving the goods by emailing please include your full name, postal address and Product Reference.


All items are subject to availability.

We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

Under the following Terms and Conditions, the use of the words ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘the site’ denotes the website www.betsyblue.co.uk and the use of the words ‘you’ and ‘your’ denotes users and customers of the website.

Please read the following information carefully, as your usage of the site and the services provided by us is subject to your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  Please note that your statutory rights are not affected.

We aim to respond to all e-mails within 24 hours of their receipt, circumstances permitting.

Description and Availability

All vintage jewels are one off due to the nature of being a period piece.  Once sold they are no longer available.

All items offered for sale on the site have been pre-owned and as such, will show varying degrees of wear and/or age.  Items are as described by us and we endeavour to accurately depict the condition of each item within the written description and the accompanying photographs.  We have allocated an overall condition category to each item.

All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.


  • Mint = As new
  • Excellent = No visible signs of wear
  • Very Good = Signs of wear but not visible when worn
  • Good = Minor faults or visible signs of wear
  • Fair = More visible faults or wear but still wearable

Prices and Taxes

Prices are as set out on the website.  VAT is not charged on our items.  We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.  It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time.

We must receive whole payment for the goods you order, with any applicable postage charges, before we can process your order.

All items are sold in British Pound Sterling.


We will acknowledge your order by automatic e-mail, specifying the goods that you have ordered and the appropriate payment made.  On receipt of our e-mail, please inform us as soon as possible if you think any details may be incorrect.

We will send you a further e-mail to let you know when your order has been dispatched.

We must receive whole payment for the goods you order, with any applicable postage charges, before we can process your order.


Our website offers delivery within the UK and Worldwide.

Free Standard delivery Royal Mail First Class Recorded (Signed For)™ – Delivery to UK addresses in 1 to 3 days.

Worldwide delivery £10.50 by Royal Mail (Signed For)™ – Delivery to Rest of the World 5 days.

Please allow longer at busy times of the year, such as Christmas.

For all orders consisting of more than one item (being delivered to the same address), a flat postage and packing charge is automatically added to each additional item after the first item.  This gives the benefit of a reduced postage and packing charge when compared to ordering items individually.

We will respond to your e-mail, letting you know the status of your order.

Orders Not Received

In the unlikely event of a lost parcel we will refund in full.  A parcel will not be classed as lost until 10 working days has passed since the parcel's dispatch.

In event of a lost parcel, please contact us at info@betsyblue.co.uk.

We will request that Royal Mail investigates the non-delivery of goods and we will supply any relevant dispatch documentation, including proof of posting.


In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please email us at info@betsyblue.co.uk immediately so that we can arrange an exchange at your convenience.

Although we hope that you are happy with your order, we understand that sometimes you will wish to return some items.  Please email us at info@betsyblue.co.uk to let us know and post the item(s) back within 7 days of receipt to the address below.  We will gladly exchange your unwanted items or issue a full refund less the initial postage cost.

Refunds will be given within 7 days of receiving the item back.

Please wrap the items very securely and use insured registered delivery, keeping the receipt in case of any damage in transit.  We cannot except liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.  Return postage and safe packaging is the responsibility of the customer.

Any items returned to us by the delivery company due to failed delivery because the customer either gave incorrect delivery details or was not at the delivery address when delivery was attempted will be refunded in full less the initial postage cost.


A contract of sale will exist between you and Betsy Blue when we confirm by e-mail that your order has been placed and payment received.  These Terms and Conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.


Whilst we will endeavour to ensure that the site runs without error or disruption to the contents or functions, we cannot guarantee that the site will be error free.

Any disruption to the service may be beyond our control and whilst we cannot be held responsible, we will do our best to see that the problem is corrected quickly.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any point and without prior notice.  We require that you accept our Terms and Conditions prior to placing an order.

Colour Disclaimer

Due to the limitations of desktop scanners and the relative inconsistencies of various display monitors, the colours you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual product. We strive to make our colours as accurate as possible but screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct.
